A preschool center that feels like a home away from home
The objective of the Haverhill Day Nursery Association is to provide and maintain a building which shall be used for the care of the children of working parents and for such charitable and educational work as may be decided upon by the Board of Directors.
Haverhill Day Nursery Association, d.b.a., Haverhill Daycare, admits age appropriate children in its program without regard to race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, sex, disability, marital status or sexual preference.
Haverhill Daycare has the philosophy that Early Childhood should be a time of exploration and discovery. The staff is committed to providing a safe avenue for children to expand horizons. Following the Massachusetts Preschool Guidelines/Core curriculum and Blue Print for Early Learning, activities and experiences are offered that build self-esteem, stimulate language development, foster and enrich creativity, enhance small and large muscle development, social studies, math, science and engineering, socialization skills and a time for quiet and active play. The staff encourages each child to participate in all activities while providing for his/her individual needs. The center strives to teach basic human values such as respect for themselves and others, trust, honesty, compassion and a sense of responsibility for themselves, their environment and the world around them. Haverhill Daycare believes in limiting the amount of screen-time children receive as it is our philosophy that a hands-on, interactive, explorative experience helps to build strong communication and social-emotional skills.
Haverhill Daycare strives to support and nurture parents in their child rearing efforts and recognizes the diverse cultures and customs of our families.
HAVERHILL DAYCARE DOES NOT ACCEPT VOUCHERS AT THIS TIME
